Always Growing.

My name is Savannah. Nice to meet you. . .

I was born and raised in a small town just outside of Yakima, WA to a religious household. I’ve always been creative, curious, and a dreamer which often made me feel out of place. My dreams felt distant, rebellious, even impossible.

Despite being the eternal optimist, I developed depression and anxiety at a young age. My grades suffered. I was raised in an oppressive religious community that made personal growth and exploration not only difficult but forbidden. Life outside of my small town, much less college, hardly seemed possible.

As I transitioned into adulthood, I began the process stripping away the labels, pushing the boundaries of my own fear, and learning how define myself in the vacuum that those confines had left.

At 18, I found my now husband and best friend, Tom. He has seen me through many life changes. We moved to Seattle. Bought and lived on a tiny sailboat. Had two children, Ford and Thorne. And finally, moved to Portland, where we’ve happily settled.

Since we've been together I've graduated from three academic programs, a certification in graphic design, a bachelor's degree from University of Washington, and most recently a certification in Life Coaching from Seattle Life Coach Training. I continue to learn, whether it’s reading, completing additional certifications, or learning from other great coaches and mentors.

Through all of my many life changes, there was one through line, coaching. I encouraged coworkers to reach for promotions, helped fellow students identify their majors, mentored at risk youth, and wrote a blog about my process of self discovery.

I continue to better myself through learning and creativity. (In fact, I have a workshop series coming soon that’s dedicated to it!) I'm a curiosity seeker, and as my sister would say, "an opportunity concierge." I love taking crazy dreams and turning them into action. Now I get to live my dream by helping you live yours.
